Insurance Out-Of-Network Services
If you have out-of-network benefits through a PPO or POS insurance plan, I can provide a monthly superbill upon request for you to submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement.
Please note that payment is due at the time of each session. Depending on your plan, your insurance may reimburse a portion of the cost. I recommend contacting your insurance provider directly to better understand your out-of-network mental health benefits, including any deductibles, co-pays, or reimbursement rates.
To better understand your benefits, I encourage you to contact the mental health number on the back of your insurance card and ask questions such as:
- Does my policy offer mental health benefits?
- Do I have out-of-network mental health benefits?
- What is my annual deductible? Has it been met for this calendar year?
- How many therapy sessions does my health insurance cover per year?
- What is the coverage amount per therapy session?
- Is prior authorization or referral required from my primary care physician?
- How do I submit a superbill, and where should it be sent?
- How long does reimbursement typically take?
Payment Methods
Payments are accepted via credit card/debit card, and a card must be kept on file for secure and contactless processing.
My Approach
Starting therapy isn’t always easy, and it’s okay if this step feels hard. This is a space where we can take things one step at a time, at a pace that feels right for you.
We’ll explore your thoughts, emotions, and experiences without judgment. In our work together, we’ll focus on understanding what’s underneath what you’re feeling, whether that’s stress, anxiety, depression, past experiences, or the pressure you place on yourself or feel from others. We may explore how certain experiences, especially those that felt overwhelming, painful, or difficult, have shaped the way you cope, relate to others, or respond to stress. Along the way, we’ll build practical coping skills to help you manage emotions and navigate day-to-day challenges. We may also check in with how your experiences show up in your body to help you become more aware of stress, tension, or emotional responses and how to ground yourself. Therapy moves at your pace. Some days we may focus on what’s happening in the present, and other times we may explore deeper experiences that are still affecting you today. The goal is to help you move forward in a way that feels more connected with yourself.
